Reining is one of the fastest growing equine sports, it is the only western event to be recognized worldwide and is a sport in the world equestrian games. Facility
Here's a little more information about our place.. We're located in the Beautiful Gavilan Hills which is located south of the city if Riverside. It is country living only minutes away from the busy Inland Empire. We've had a busy year and have still been making improvements to our property. We have a large outdoor arena surrounded by California Pepper Trees. We have an awesome autmated sprinkler system to keep the dust down and a Kaiser Edge drag to prepare that dirt just right for reining horses. We have a super lighted round pen as well. We have used electrobraid fencing for paddocks and pastures and it is the best in our opinion. We also have shelters in our pastures. One of our latest projects are the super stout tie up posts/ fence that we have built. We have also installed tie blocker at all our tie up areas, it is a super product. Also new is very nice bridge over the creek bed, it'll be great for schooling trail horses.
Who We are and our Philosphy
Glenn & Kelly are both avid horse people who are talented in training horses in their respective disciplines. With our horse experience we feel we can honestly and fairly represent the horses we have for sale. We take pride in matching buyers with horses and dogs that are a great match and will provide years of enjoyment to their new owners. We strive to have completely satisfied customers that will be repeat purchasers.
Kelly has a very strong lesson program in place with the main interest being reining. We have a very nice group of rookie reiners learning the ropes and they are all doing super well. We hosted our first reining clinic in 2009 with NRHA professional Tom Foran and it was a succesful and informative day. We look forward to hosting more.
Shows 2010
We are off and showing already on 2010 in NRHA competition. Glenn showed his TopGun Won It to top 5 finishes in the Non Pro divisons at the Southern California affilate shows #1 & #2. Our friend Rick showed his Smarty Pants Whiz to a 2nd and a 1st in the Green As Grass division at the same show. In febuary we ventured to Las vegas for the SNRHA show and had great success. Glenn was 2nd in the open classes and swept the non pro series with a very nice 71 point run. Rick again won his Green as grass class with a 68. Kelly got the 4YO mare Showhizfun shown and was second in the limited open and both horse and rider are NRHA money earners!! We really enjoy the showing both the competion end of it and for the fun people that we get to meet.
